| Hello all, we are new to this, I have been gardening for many years but have always been short on the special bits of information which turn a good veggie patch into a great one. Having just move in to a bigger house with sizeable garden we are hoping to at least cut some of our large food bill by the end of the year, even if it is just the cost of salad leaves. We live in Reading in the uk so any tips for planting in the coming weks and months will be appreciated. Many thanks. Paddy and Vicky. | |

| Hi Paddy & Vicky - Just thought I'd say hi and welcome to the forum. I work for the RHS so thought you might be interested to hear about our 'Grow Your Own' campaign we're working on at the moment - it's to encourage more people to grow fruit and vegetables at home and the website offers lots of tips and advice. Have a look www.rhs.org.uk/GROWYOUROWN Hope this helps. Chris |
