That is my nickname for her these days and I use it all the time. I hope she doesnt get a size complex lol
Now that her claws have regrown considerably I took her to the vet today. They tell me that they have changed now. Before she had them removed the blood supply went down to the end of her claws making clipping impossible. Today the claw that remains (I think it is actually 3 fused together and curled under) was dead all the way to the foot so they could clip it all the way back, This means that I can keep it regularly clipped or filed down without hurting her and there is no need for any further operations. This is such a relief!

A lovely name for her Annette, its great news with her claw, being able to be cut and filed now, also especially she does nt have to have any more operations.

Ok Gill I will work on that for you.Wish I had a camera this afternoon. She loves to crawl inside duvet covers and go to sleep. Many is the time I have tried to change the bed when a growling fills the room because I have disturbed her. Today I went into the boys room to see Tyler poking her eyes and ears out from beneath the cover. So cute and soooo funny.

I have to file Cleo's nails these days psilo because she goes out and scratches so little. I use one of those large fancy fine Emery boards which you can get in any chemist. Whilst I am sitting down, I pick her up and turn her on her back like a baby and gently file her nails, whilst telling her what a good gel she is. She lets me do it without protest so I hope Tyler will let you do the same as the Emery board method does not seem to hurt.

My Emery board is like this one:-

Thanks for that Madge. It is something that I shall do on a weekly basis to keep them well down.
Was looking at Isacc tonight. He really is a beast these days, bigger now than Toby who is much older. One of his toes is bigger that one of Tylers feet lol it really is amazing how very small and dainty she is. I am so lucky to have such a unique cat.

The vast differences that can exist between cats in the same litter is one of the reasons they are such good survivors. Vive la difference!!

Good news regarding Tyler. Hope you can show us another picture soon Psilo. It is certainly going to be better for you being able to file the claws yourself, saving loads of vet's bills

My four little darlings are house cats and I have various size cat scratching posts and climbing frames dotted around, but that doesnt stop the odd little angel using my settee when I'm at work lol.
As for our tiny Tyler, Im eagerly awaiting some of the Tiny Tyler Tales you've been writing Psilo

Will be posting some photos soon just dont have a decent camera at the moment as i loaned it to my dad who has gone to south africa. Should get it back at the weekend.
I really should get more scratching posts. Tyler proves taht for cats scratching is instintive as she still does it despite not having any claws to sharpen lol
Tess has ruined my sofa and my carpets are always coming under fire. In the summer its not so bad as they go and use the trees alot.
I wish I had my camera not ten minutes ago. Toby has a stubborn habit of trying to come in the front door even though he knows the back door is always open. Usually he just stands there and waits though if he hears me around he will scratch at the door. This morning was different. I heard a thud and looked up to see Tobys face staring in at my through the fromt door window. Now that window is very small only 6 inches across and ab out 5 feet from the ground with the tiniest of insills. I open the door and he is still hanging their very precariouly by his claws wondering what to do next lol. Being the dutiful and loving owner that i am I lifted him down gently and gave him a cuddle. Sooo funny.
Wendy the tiny tyler story is well under way. I had to change it half way through but I believe the change is for t he better. Will publish it very soon.
